Pointing out that Health Tourism has become a strategic sector that contributes more and more to the economy of Northern Cyprus in terms of added value, employment and foreign currency inflow, Savaşan underlined that Health Tourism revenues in Northern Cyprus exceeded 50 million Euros.

1000 HEALTH TOURISTS IN 2020

Pointing out that if the government maintains its determination to strengthen this field, with the agreements signed by the Health Tourism Council, an additional income of 10 million Euros can be brought to the country from 1000 new health tourists in 2020. Ahmet Savaşan, He stated that the 10 million Euros in question will be obtained from health tourists to be sent from countries such as the USA, Germany, England, Dubai, Japan, South Korea, India, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Ghana and China.
